I’m happy to report that we’ve checked a few other things off the to do list. First, we got the cake all set. Jan at McCoole’s recommended two local places including Amanda’s Cakery. She’s a small business person that runs her business out of her house so she can be with her kids (or so I assumed). Anyway, we had a good meeting & tasting with her a few weeks ago. Looks like the cake will be 3 layers, each one being made up of a chocolate layer, a vanilla layer, and strawberry puree filling. Mmmm, tasty!
The other thing we checked off the list was the rings. We picked them out a few months ago but decided to spread the payments out over a few months. They’re paid off now and we got to go pick them up today. Yay!
Finally, we ordered a new printer today so that we can use it to print the invitations. We needed a new printer anyway this was just a good excuse to do it now. It’s a little early but we’re looking at sending out some of the invitations as early as about a month from now.
