Well, it turns out that I’ve been counting the weeks & days incorrectly all this time – oops! I went by the size of the baby at the first ultrasound (8 weeks, 1 day) rather than by the due date, etc. so I am 3 days behind. Starting today I’m going to adjust the count so today will actually be 20 weeks, 5 days rather than 20 weeks, 2 days, as it would have been under the system I’ve been using. I know this doesn’t make a big difference in the long run – especially since it’s only 3 days! – but I thought I’d change it for accuracy anyway.
